The full-size CSS Hunley replica is touring California. September 5-7, it will be at the Benicia Historical Museum in Benicia, Ca, Sept. 12-15 it will be stopping in Nevada City, California. I tried searching for information about this tour without luck. If you have any, please send it along.

The Hunley replica is in Virginia City, Nevada this weekend. Excellent article here. Still looking for details about this exhibit's schedule!

The Hunley replica is coming to Hollister! It is going to be in San Benito County, just outside the city limits of Hollister Sept. 26-28, 2008 though the 26th it is reserved for school visits. It will be part of the Civil War week-end. Here's the link: http://www.sbchistoricalsociety.org/
I saw info that it was going to be here on the week-end of the 21st, but the above link indicates the later date. Do not miss the opportunity to see it! (I saw it in Nevada City: Terrific! And the docents were full of information about it that they were glad to share!)
