Blogger has finally offered some better out of the box templates for their blogs. I hope you like the one I have chosen. I have wanted to take advantage of all that empty space on the left side for a while, and now I can.
There are some useful links at the bottom, but it takes some scrolling to get to them.

I wouldn't have known if you hadn't asked. I normally read blogs in Google Reader and don't see the actual format of the blog.
I pretty much use Google Reader, too. And most of my avid readers (family and friends) I think just read the emailed version. So, who sees this thing anyway?
